Maybe it’s because I’m a mom and it just seems weird to wear bright red lipstick when I’m shuttling my children to and from their various activities, or maybe it’s just me. In any case, bring on the balms! I’m a fan of Burt’s Bees and Moody Bee, and recently, I’ve come to love Say Yes to Carrots. Say Yes to Carrots Color Balm is a lip balm that glides on much like regular lip balm (think Chap Stick), only it has color. The color I have is Rosy Bloom, which is a light rosy shade with a bit of an orange undertone. The color is delivered consistently and doesn’t seem to separate from the balm itself, which is nice when you want both color and moisture.

I never collected rocks, stamps, coins (or even bullion like silver eagle at Golden Eagle), or any other things. And it looks like my kids are the same way. My seven year old daughter, Alyssa, briefly expressed an interest in trying to collect a penny for every year, but she lost interest in a matter of days. My son Ryan is five, and has shown no interest in collecting whatsoever.

Amore Pacific Treatment Cleansing Foam is a botanical cleanser designed for facial cleansing – both for removing makeup and for providing general facial cleansing. Initially it dispenses into your hands in cream form, but just add a little water (wet hands seem to be sufficient) and rub together to create a rich, foamy, slightly abrasive (due to the little cleansing beads) lather to apply to your face and neck. Apply to wet skin, rub in gentle circles, then rinse.

My most favorite thing about Treatment Cleansing Foam is the scent – so clean, so fresh! But just as importantly, the cleanser does an excellent job of cleaning my face and leaving my skin feeling clean and silky smooth.

It’s a little pricey ( at Sephora), but the product works amazingly well, and since a little goes a long way (a dime-sized amount is more than adequate), it’s worth it!

In terms of scent, Terme Tresses shampoo and conditioner don’t disappointment: much like you’d expect from baby pink colored shampoo and conditioner containers and product, the scent is a mixture of rose and baby powder. It’s girly without being overly cloying.

In terms of lather, the shampoo and conditioner both do nicely. But a warning for those of you with color-treated hair: the shampoo is not sulfate-free, so expect some color stripping!

In terms of my satisfaction with the products, eh? The shampoo seems overly stripping – much like a clarifying shampoo. And to be honest, the conditioner doesn’t do all that good of a job at leaving my hair feeling nicely softened and moisturized.
